Do I need any artistic experience?
Not at all! No previous art experience is necessary. Our instructors guide you through the process step by step, so you can relax, have fun, and enjoy creating.
What is fluid art?
Fluid art is a painting technique that uses specially prepared paints that flow and interact across the canvas. Instead of traditional brushwork, you use movement and different techniques to create beautiful patterns, colors, and effects.
Will an instructor help me?
Absolutely! Our instructors are there to guide you throughout your experience. We’ll explain the process, help you select colors and techniques, and make sure you feel comfortable creating your artwork.
Can children participate?

How long does a class take?
Class times vary depending on the project, but most experiences take approximately one hour. Some specialty projects may take longer.

What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little creative in. Art can sometimes be messy, and while we take precautions, paint has a way of finding unexpected places!
Can I choose my own colors?

Can I create artwork to match my home?
Absolutely! Many guests choose colors specifically to complement a room in their home or office. Bring inspiration photos or have your color palette in mind, and we’ll help you create something uniquely yours.
Can I take my artwork home the same day?
It depends on the project. Some artwork requires additional drying or curing time before it can safely be transported. Your instructor will explain when your piece will be ready and provide pickup or transportation instructions.
Booking, Pricing & Studio Services
Do I need a reservation?
Walk-ins are welcome. Reservations are recommended for Large Groups, Specialty Classes. Walk-in, during any of our open hours to create something magical.
How do I book a class?
Visit your local Hawaii Fluid Art studio’s booking page, select the experience you’d like to try, and choose an available date and time. You can also contact your local studio for assistance with booking.
What is included in the class price?
Pricing and inclusions vary by project and studio. Generally, your experience includes instruction and the primary materials needed to complete your selected project. Check the individual class description for exact details.
Can I come by myself?
Of course! You don’t need a group to enjoy Hawaii Fluid Art. Creating art can be a wonderful way to relax and spend time doing something just for yourself.
Can I purchase artwork instead of making it?
Many Hawaii Fluid Art studios feature original artwork and other creative items available for purchase. Selection varies by location, so stop in and see what’s currently available.
Are Hawaii Fluid Art classes good for gifts?

Yes. The resin used at Hawaii Fluid Art is food safe and FDA approved once fully cured, making it a great option for many of our functional art projects. Our instructors will explain the proper curing time and care instructions for your finished piece.
Safety, Accessibility, Groups & Class Offerings
Are the paints used at Hawaii Fluid Art water based?
Yes! Our paints are water based and clean up easily with soap and water. While we still recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy, cleanup is generally simple.
Can you accommodate large groups?
Yes! We can accommodate groups of up to 50 people, making Hawaii Fluid Art a fantastic choice for corporate events, team building, birthday celebrations, family gatherings, clubs, social groups, and other special occasions.
Can we book the studio for a corporate or private group?
Yes! We love hosting private and corporate groups. Whether you’re planning a team-building event, employee appreciation experience, client event, birthday, family celebration, or gathering with friends, we’ll work with you to create a fun and memorable art experience for your group.
Can Hawaii Fluid Art ship my finished artwork?
Yes! If you’re visiting from out of town or simply don’t want to transport your artwork yourself, we can ship your finished artwork anywhere in the United States. Ask our studio team about shipping options and applicable costs.
Can we bring food and beverages for our event or party?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring food and beverages for your private event or party. Our team will set up a designated area for your refreshments so your guests can enjoy food and drinks while celebrating and creating together. It’s one more way we help make your Hawaii Fluid Art event fun, easy, and memorable!
