Our Fluid Art experience is designed to make creating beautiful, original artwork fun and approachable—whether you’ve been painting for years or haven’t touched a canvas since elementary school. No artistic experience is necessary. Our talented instructors guide you through the process while giving you the freedom to choose your colors, express your personality, and create a piece that is completely your own.

What Is Fluid Art?
Fluid Art is a fascinating form of abstract painting that uses specially prepared, water-based paints that move and interact across the canvas.
Instead of relying on traditional brushes and detailed painting techniques, you’ll work with flowing paint, movement, color, and gravity to create incredible patterns and effects.

You don’t need to know how to draw. You don’t need to understand color theory. And you definitely don’t need to consider yourself an artist.
Our instructors will walk you through the process, explain your options, help you choose colors that work beautifully together, and guide you as you create.

Your Fluid Art experience begins with choosing colors that speak to you. From there, our instructors will introduce you to the techniques that allow those colors to move, blend, and transform across your canvas.
The result is a completely original piece of art created by you.
Many of our guests come to Hawaii Fluid Art with a room, wall, or color palette already in mind. Bring photos of your space, fabric swatches, paint colors, or simply an idea of what you’d like to create.
Our team can help you select colors that complement your décor while still allowing your creativity to take the lead.
And when someone asks where you found that amazing piece on your wall, you’ll get to say: “I made it!”
Our Fluid Art paints are water based and clean up easily with soap and water. Aprons are available for our guests, and gloves can be provided upon request.
We still recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little creative in—because sometimes the best art experiences get a little messy!

Our studio team will explain the drying process and let you know when your artwork will be ready. If you’re visiting from out of town or would rather not transport your finished piece yourself, we can ship your artwork anywhere in the United States. Shipping charges may apply.

Special Requirements
Fluid art projects require 3 to 5 days to dry completely. Artwork is stored safely in the studio until ready for pickup. We will text you when your project is ready for pickup. (We ship Nationwide as needed)
